Built for frontline work where visibility, comfort and practical protection matter, the Overwatch Core SP2-YLW combines a functional load-bearing design with slash-resistant coverage across key torso areas.

Designed for security personnel, authorised officers, event staff, patrol teams and other operational users, the SP2-YLW keeps essential equipment accessible while providing an additional layer of protection in higher-risk working environments.

The SP2-YLW incorporates removable 18-gauge aluminium light plates within a highly visible and adjustable vest platform. When rigid protection is not required, the plates can be removed, allowing the vest to function as a standard load-bearing vest.

Slash-Resistant Protection

The SP2-YLW is designed to reduce the risk of injury from slashing and cutting threats while maintaining mobility and practical wearability during operational duties.

The vest incorporates removable 18-gauge aluminium light plates, which may resist:

• Sharp knives
• Blunt-edged weapons
• Needles and pointed objects
• Other sharp handheld threats

These rigid aluminium plates provide an additional layer of protection across key torso areas. The plates can be removed when required, allowing the vest to be used as a standard load-bearing platform when rigid protection is not necessary.

Based on the practical design of the Overwatch Core series, the SP2-YLW provides integrated storage and mounting options for commonly carried operational equipment.

Comfortable & Adjustable

The slash-resistant vest features adjustable shoulder and waist sections to accommodate a wide range of body types and uniform configurations. Reinforced mesh construction promotes airflow while helping maintain comfort during extended shifts and physically active duties.

The vest is designed to fit approximately M–4XL, although fit may vary depending on body shape and the clothing or equipment worn underneath. Total vest weight is approximately 3 kg.
