There is no limit. You are able to add as many trackers as you want, as long as they are "PLX" trackers. If you are managing an organisation, you can create sub-accounts and set your own restrictions for them.
-
Your subscription to Overwatch Tracking will include access to our server and GPS tracking platform, as well as exclusive access to Telstra's enterprise 4G Cat-M1 network which offers the best coverage Australia wide.
After purchasing your GPS tracker, simply fill out our activation form, and we will email you a subscription invoice.
-
Our PLX trackers will not work with your own sim card, and it is usually more expensive if you use your own.
Please be advised that Aldi Mobile and other operators have been disabling sim cards that are used for M2M purposes (such as GPS trackers) as it goes against their ToS. If you are using a tracker through a regular network operator, it's recommended to move to our PLX range.
If you were to use your own sim card, you would be expected to pay $15-30 per month, just for the sim card. Overwatch Tracking includes the sim, server, and the platform for $12.95/m. If you are a business customer, we can also quote you based on your custom requirements. For example, if you would like 15 second interval reporting, instead of 30 second (default), we charge $15.95/m.

Yes. By default, all our body cameras record with audio enabled. However, you can disable audio in the settings menu. Alternatively, you can record audio without video.
-
Yes. Please check the specifications for your particular model. Most of our models include a 30 or 60 second pre-record function and a 30 second post record function. This means that once you click 'record', the BWC will have already recorded the previous 30-60 seconds.
-
You can, however please take note of the weight of the body camera. In most cases, if you are only wearing a shirt, body cameras tend to droop down and don't allow a correct recording angle. This can be controlled by wearing an adjustable shoulder mount or an adjustable chest harness if you do not have a load bearing vest or sturdy clothing. Alternatively, you also have the option to clip the unit onto your belt and run an external camera through your clothing and secure it to your shoulder or other areas.
If you are interested in purchasing a load bearing vest, please check our Vests category.

Simply connect it to your included individual docking station and plug the docking station into your PC or wall outlet. You can also transfer data/video through the docking station if it's connected to the PC. If you own a fleet of body cameras, you can also consider 8-port docking stations for an efficient charging method.
-
You can transfer data such as audio, video, snapshots and more by connecting the unit to your PC and simply transferring the video across to your drive. We don't have any cloud storage option at the moment.
Cloud storage tends to be very expensive with competitors charging recurring subscription costs and disabling manual data transfer options through the PC. This ultimately forces you to pay before you can retrieve your footage.

Our models include a range of loss and theft protection methods and include AES encryption to provide peace of mind. Each unit also includes a 5 digit device ID and 6 digit police ID.
We also include the ability to set administrator passwords for data management. This means that without entering the password via the software, the user can not gain access to camera's storage & settings. This prevents unethical behavior and misuse as the officer cannot manually delete footage if they engage in unlawful behaviour.
All encryption methods are turned off by default. If you would like to enable them, you must do so through the settings. Please refer to the manual for more information.
