FINAL TAKEAWAY:

The EH150 is suitable for most situations as it includes 1080P video quality, decent battery life and storage hours, an LCD screen to remotely view footage and change settings, GPS and an external camera support.

The EH250 is its successor and improves on a few downfalls such as the size and weight of the previous model, making it smaller and lighter. The EH250 also includes a higher video quality (1440P), a slightly wider field of view and a higher resolution external camera with an infrared sensor (720P vs 480P).

The user also has the choice of changing the compression format to H.265. This format will allow you to store almost double the amount of footage compared to H.264 without losing any video quality due to new efficient coding methods. One of the drawbacks however, is that it requires more computing power and this therefore slightly reduces the battery life per charge by approximately 10%.

If you are not a fan of buttons and functions, our minimalist EH220 model may suit. The EH220 features a unique backlit screen on the top of the unit which displays key information such as time, recording status and more. It includes 1440P resolution and a front REC button to start/stop record. Beside the REC button is a smaller snapshot button which allows you to take snapshots while you record.

Although the EH220 and the EH250 can record up to 1440P, the default is set to 1080P (the same as the EH150/XE22) which is the optimal recording resolution for quality, battery life and storage.

The XE22 includes numerous features and functions, with the highlight being the 3G/4G live streaming capability, where you can stream your video to the monitoring platform or app. To enable live streaming, a sim card is required, as well as a server.

The server is used to process the data being sent towards the monitoring platform (CMSV6). You can use your own server, or alternatievly, we recommend that you use our server which is hosted by Amazon Web Services for a small fee. For more information, refer to the Important tab on our product page.

To change the settings on our EH150/EH250/XE22 models, you can do so through its in-built screen. However, with our Minimalist models such as the EH210/EH220, you will need to install a program on your computer to access files and change the settings.

Overall, our most popular models are the EH150 and the EH250. All models are suited for a range of professions such as law enforcement, council duties (park rangers, ticket inspects), security companies and more.
